Each system is implemented from its own source texts, not blended into a house style. Iron Oracle follows the Bagua Addition lineage set out in 关天祖's Tie Ban Shen Shu primer; Date Selection follows the rules of the Qinding Xieji Bianfang Shu.
Trigrams, yao sums, and how each entry number was reached are all printed. You can check the arithmetic yourself rather than take a result on trust.
